Experience of working in Environmental Protection is expected.
A qualification in acoustics is desirable but not essential.
A knowledge of Environmental Permitting and practical experience in undertaking inspections is essential.
The successful candidate is expected to work from the office a minimum of two days per week, one day being a Thursday.
A full driving license is required and must have a car to drive around borough. - Main role includes:
- 1. Conducting Environmental Permitting Inspections
2. Providing consultee responses on planning applications
3. Responding to nuisance complaints related to building sites and permitted sites only.
