Education Solicitor Full Time Temporary

Education Solicitor needed in Birkenhead paying £21.13 per hr PAYE – Reference: RQ584798

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis

 Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to the client departments and to take responsibility for the conduct of litigation and proceedings arising from the duties and functions of the client areas assigned.
• Represent or arrange representation of the client as may be necessary in the Courts, Tribunals, inquiries and other bodies in relation to significant and complex matters as required including advocacy and the drafting of pleadings, orders, claims and defences.
• Attend and give legal advice to the Cabinet and any committees, panels or other meetings whatsoever as may be directed (including those held in the evening).
• Draft legal documents and reports in relation to matters assigned to them.
