Development Engineer needed in Bexleyheath Paying  £32.65 per hr ref 1405627

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Evaluating developer proposals to meet technical specifications for road and bridge works

• Negotiating and agreeing on proposal details with developers

• Instructing legal services to prepare and complete necessary agreements

• Briefing and managing consultants for technical assessments

• Coordinating with third parties to maintain project progress

• Ensuring safe implementation of developments according to agreed terms

• Overseeing traffic orders, licences, audits, and health and safety plans

• Reviewing and developing effective service delivery structures and procedures

• Providing timely advice and information to Members and line management

• Communicating with professional staff, contractors, and external representatives

• Inspecting contractor work for compliance with regulations and specifications

• Preparing certification upon satisfactory completion of works
