Our client is looking for a Data Protection and Complaints Locum Support Assistant. To assist as a member of the Legal Services Team in the provision of legal advice and support to Services. The focus of this post will be primarily in relation to data protection and access to information law but the post holder will also be required to undertake and maintain a caseload of corporate complaints and be point of contact for all stages of the WBC corporate complaints process, including any involving the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGSCO).
The successful candidate will personally undertake and maintain a caseload of work with primary emphasis in the areas of data protection and access to information. The caseload will include both contentious and non-contentious work and be the primary point of contact to receive, log and acknowledge stage 1, 2 and 3 complaints.
