Corporate Business Partner solicitor/Barrister Full Time Temporary

Corporate Business Partner solicitor/Barrister needed in Sandwell £29.05 per hr ref: 360054

This role will involve:

• To undertake and supervise complex legal work relating to all work covered by the Corporate services including but not limited to Governance, data protection, Freedom of Information, member misconduct issues, the Localism Act 2011, Children’s Social Services, Adults Social Services and the Combined Authority.
• Instructing Counsel to act or appear on behalf of the client in circumstances where the best interests of the client so require.
• To manage the Corporate services team and deal with any queries from the ICO.
• To supervise and monitor the conduct of cases and work undertaken within the team.
• To provide leadership, motivation and direction to all team members.
• To manage the budget of the team in accordance with the agreed priorities, financial regulations and accounting instructions.
• To play a constructive and active role in the management, in the Legal Services Management Team and in the preparation and implementation of the service plans and the vision 2030.
