Commissioning and Compliance Assistant

Commissioning and Compliance Assistant needed in Nottingham, £16.10ph PAYE – Reference: RQ1486832

Tasks
o Data management
o Collate, input and analyse performance management data provided by stakeholders and suppliers for Transport and Travel services.
o Prepare performance and compliance management reports utilising the Strategic Passenger Transport Framework to inform network efficiency reviews and the scrutiny of contracts.
o Effective input into the Delivery, monitoring and management of all costs associated with service delivery

Communication
o To maintain and build positive relationships with internal and external suppliers.
o Provide appropriate, relevant and timely advice and management reports to the Commissioning & Compliance Officer.

Contracts and Commissioning administration
o Ensure that the Commissioning arrangements comply with European Union, National and regulations.
o To be responsible as directed by the Commissioning & Compliance Officer for: Compliance, Commissioning, Service Performance and Client engagement.
o Ensure all contracts meet legal duties and requirements and recommend and action any changes to the Commissioning service as a result of changing practices, strategies and regulations.

You will ideally have – 

• NVQ Level 3 in business management/commissioning/passenger transport plans or equivalent.
• Broad knowledge of various IT systems and packages.
• Knowledge of budget and contract monitoring
• Knowledge of report writing
• A high level of personal drive and commitment to excellent customer care and the ability to set an example for other staff.
• Strong interpersonal skills to gain the agreement and acceptance of others including colleagues, senior managers and customers.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems to meet operational targets, involving devising solution sand procurement guidelines. prioritising tasks
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently where required
• Ability to meet agreed objectives and delivery targets by the effective use of resources.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
