Full time hours on a temporary basis.

Senior Commercial Role

• MCIPS or Equivalent
• Recent public sector experience in large and complex environment
• Worked extensively in commercial role, taking personal responsibility
• On site requirement min 2 days per week
• Lead and support major commercial confrontational negotiation activity
• Understand commercial risk and present solutions to stakeholders
• Drive commercial approaches in departments overcoming reluctance
• Confident and experienced in major commercial arrangements
• Report back to management and board on your deliverables
• Capture and share lessons learned from commercial activity
• Review complex and high value options with commercial understanding
• High levels of resilience and ability to work on multiple projects under pressure
• Fully up to date with public procurement requirements
• Work within Supplier Relationship Management methodology
• support contract variations, providing advice and direction
• Provide assurance agreements reviewed provide Value for Money
• Be responsible and accountable for performance and savings
• Political awareness and organizational priorities understood
• Support and utilise analysis and liaise with Category Management and Procurement
• Understanding of differing funding streams
