Client Technician Full Time Temporary

Client Technician needed in Hengoed paying £11.50 per hr PAYE Ref: 5160750

This is working full time hours on a temporary basis

Responsibilities:

Provide advice to customers on end user computing ensuring all equipment is fit for the Customer’s role whilst adhering to relevant Digital Strategies.  Ensure equipment continues to deliver benefits to customers throughout the life cycle of the device.

Provide technical assistance in delivering digital services for accommodation moves across the organisation.

 Provide all services associated with end user computing such as, but not limited to, installation and configuration.

 Support audio visual technologies.

 Provide resolution of problems through effective troubleshooting, both remotely and face to face.  This will include but not be limited to hardware, software and connectivity.

 Provide second line support and actively participate in the second line support team, working with the Second Line Support Coordinator to increase efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have any of the below:

Relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW).
Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
Microsoft Certified System Engineer.
PRINCE 2 Project Management.
Current knowledge of trends and developments in the field of end user computing.
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft desktop products.
Office 365 and its components.
Audio-visual, digital and multi- media technologies.
