Civil Enforcement Officer Full Time Permanent

Civil Enforcement Officer needed in Dunstable £26,421 – £28,770pa (+ additional weekend enhancement) – Reference: EO1

Role can be based in either Dunstable or Sandy

• 37 hours per week (Please note that you’ll work a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, on a rolling 8-week rota, with weekend working (with enhancement) a mixture of early and late shifts between 7am and 9:30pm).
• Part time hours also considered. Please state your preferred days / hours as part of your application.

Our parking enforcement team aims to provide a high quality of civil enforcement action throughout the client to aim to ensure the free movement of traffic and rotation of car parking spaces within our Car Parks and on street parking. We endeavour to maximise compliance of our parking restrictions through education and enforcement. By providing local residents, visitors and businesses clear and effective parking solutions we help make sure Central Bedfordshire is a great place to live and work.

• The Civil Enforcement Officers are responsible for providing an efficient and effective service of parking enforcement in order to minimise vehicles parking in contravention, through the issue of penalty charge notices.
• You will provide this service in accordance with the objectives and policies.
• Subject to Standard DBS clearance as part of the Recruitment process.
• You will need a full clean Driving Licence.

To provide an efficient and effective service of parking enforcement in order to minimise parking in contravention through the issue of Penalty Charge Notices in appropriate cases.

You will be conversant with Road Traffic Law, Traffic Regulation Orders, relevant legislation and Civil Parking Enforcement practices and procedures.

This is a full time role on a Permanent basis.
