Children Out of School Lead Officer needed in East London

The rate is £254.44 per day PAYE

The successful candidate will have responsibility for overseeing the effective discharge of duty in relation to section 19 of the Education Act 1996. They will ensure that all children of statutory school age are engaged in suitable, full time education during school hours 

They will coordinate the management of the pupils out of schools team, ensuring focused, efficient and responsive management of referrals, and a high standard of service and will ensure the pupils out of schools team undertakes a critical approach to their work, that ensures they are operating in a way that actively challenges racism, misogyny, other forms of discrimination and any in equitability in fair access to education for children.
