Building Services Engineer Contract Full Time

Building Services Engineer needed in based in Horsham and the salary is £21.19 ph PAYE  

This is a full time temporary role.

This role will involve:

• The Building Services Engineer job covers all mechanical and electrical disciplines and provides a professional level of advice and guidance across a specific geographical area of the County. The job is one of 6 similar roles that collectively provide engineering advice and guidance across the whole County. This will require regular site visits to meet with building users, external contractors and consultants in addition to closely working with our team of Building Surveyors.
• There is no typical day in that you could be advising on a packaged sewerage treatment plant in a remote location to identifying carbon reduction opportunities in a Day Care Centre to advising a Head Teacher and Governors on priorities to maintain and replace engineering systems.
• The job will require regular communication to a range of non-technical audiences including School Governing bodies, members of the public, external partners / organisations and internal clients, representing the client at local meetings by providing specialist, technical advice and information and providing technical evidence as required.

Ideally candidates will have:

• Degree or equivalent level of academic attainment, Incorporated Engineer or post graduate qualification within the specialist area, or equivalent qualification or experience demonstrating that level of advanced applied knowledge in researching, analysing and evaluating arguments and information.
• Membership of a relevant professional body e.g. Chartered or Incorporated Engineer
