Building And Facilities Officer Contract Full Time

Building and Facilities Manager based in St Albans and the hourly rate is £25.00ph

This is a full time temporary contract role.

To provide a responsive repairs and planned maintenance programme for the commercial and operational properties and community assets, and to manage projects to deliver the Capital Works Programme.

The successful candidate will:

• Lead and effectively manage ad hoc corporate projects including carrying out site inspections, preparing detailed schedules of works, cost estimates, specifications, and tender documents for planned maintenance and capital projects.
• Provide professional building management advice underpinned by relevant condition surveys, schedules of dilapidation/condition, building insurance valuations.
• Assess monitor and ensure all buildings are compliant to statutory regulations such as DDA, Legionella and Asbestos to ensure safe working conditions and use of buildings.
• Support the Building & Facilities Manager and Estate Services Manager (as required) to manage and monitor the capital and revenue budgets related to the building & facilities, including administration of works and purchase orders and invoices and preparation of specifications.
