Billing and Recovery Officer needed in Northampton Paying  £19.23 per hr ref 19150

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• We are seeking a dedicated Billing and Recovery Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of billing and recovery for Council Tax. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of Council Tax billing and recovery.
  • Processing account amendments and reviewing accounts at various stages of recovery in accordance with local and legislative guidelines.
  • Handling customer enquiries through various formats.
  • Utilizing Academy systems and EDMS for efficient processing.

  Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Council Tax billing and recovery.
  • Proficiency in using Academy systems and EDMS.
  • Ability to process account amendments and review accounts at different recovery stages.
  • Strong customer service skills for dealing with enquiries.
  • Experience with business rates is advantageous but not essential.
