Benefits Assessor needed in Gosport paying £10.41 per hr PAYE Ref: 5159669
This is working full time hours on a temporary basis
· Counter-checking and authorising both Standard and Discretionary applications for payment.
· Entering payment details on spreadsheet for Accounts and ensuring this is submitted in a timely manner for each payment run.
· Completing Eligibility Checking Spreadsheet to ensure all decisions are correctly recorded for NHS/HMRC reporting purposes.
· Updating CTAS with payment decision for each applicant.
· Ensuring all applications are dealt with promptly and prioritised in date order/in accordance with complete information being received for assessment – to be allocated to Admin staff where required.
· Updating SIPS Stats for funding purposes to ensure we remain within budget – with particular reference to the Discretionary Scheme.
· Responding to Admin enquiries regarding outstanding evidence and providing guidance where required.
· Experience of Office
The successful candidate will require a basic DBS check
