You will be organised, flexible and adaptable, especially when juggling priorities. You can demonstrate high accuracy skills and able to work effectively and efficiently. Knowledge and experience of benefits capita academy systems is essential.  The key focus is benefits and this is your area of expertise, you will apply accurate and efficient council tax and benefits assessments, aiming to make a real difference to people’s lives. 

What you are an expert in:

• Benefits Capita Academy systems 
• Build & assess New Claims (UC CTS, HB pensioner, HB temp accommodation/specified exempt accommodation)
• Action all Atlas manager work
• Action all UCDS work (1st payments, COC, STOP, termination records)
• Action all general changes in circumstances (including changes of address, self-employed, student claims etc)
• Apply Underlying entitlement/diminishing capital calculations
• Deal with and respond to reconsideration requests.
• Action report type work (age related events/claims marked for reassessment etc)
• Action VEPS
