Assistant Accountant Contract Full Time

Assistant Accountant based in Hengoed and the hourly rate is £16.71ph

This is a full time temporary contract role.

The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of budgets and closure of accounts and will facilitate appropriate payments to care providers and service users.

The successful candidate will assist budget holders to manage budgets effectively and they will provide day to day management of staff within the accountancy. Preparation of detailed budgets for the Social Services Directorate in accordance with corporate deadlines. Preparation of bi-monthly budget monitoring reports for the Social Services Directorate. Closure of the accounts for the Social Services in accordance with corporate deadlines. Prompt and accurate processing of supplier invoices via the authority’s purchase ledger system.
