The successful candidate will be working within a very busy bereavement office. Office layout is open plan with front desk enquiries made in person by funeral directors and bereaved families together with customer call queue to be operated between 11am and 3pm Mon-Fri.
They will focus being on telephone calls, actioning instructions given (with training provided) relating to cremation and burial bookings, grave purchases, grave ownership transfers, memorial permit applications and commemorative contracts (renewals and new). Some support to Public Health Funerals may also be required in respect of administration and possible property searches accompany lead officer. This role will involve onsite attendance at office Monday to Friday.
